Who Visits Congregations

At a typical worship service, 2 percent of worshippers are first time attendees. First timers are remarkably similar to regular attendees in many ways. However, key differences emerge. The majority of first-time visitors (67 percent) were participating in another congregation before visiting their new congregation.
