Help For Pastors Leading Church Transformation

Three factors make church transformation possible: pastor, passion, and position. The pastor plays the critical role as the initiating leader of the process; the passion comes from the lay leaders who must be deeply committed to the congregation’s future; and position relates to the authority of the transformation leadership. The Indianapolis Center for Congregations, an organization that helps strengthen congregations by providing resources to address their challenges and opportunities, offers workshops and resources for church leaders dealing with change.
