On Teaching and Learning in the Seminary

Contemporary seminaries face diversity, formation, institutional identity, and assessment issues that were not present prior to the 1960s. In the face of these challenges, seminaries can productively claim a sense of mission that allows them to take their teaching into the world beyond the academy. In an interview, Malcolm Warford discusses the role that the Lilly Endowment-supported Lexington Seminar plays in fostering creative thought and transformational programming in the seminary setting.
