Roman Catholic Church Surveys

The Association of Religion Data Archives has data sets for a multitude of studies involving religion. A diverse collection of surveys of the Catholic Church, conducted primarily between 1983 and 2005, is housed on the ARDA website, along with an interesting historic group of data sets containing diocesan-level descriptors covering a 60-year period from 1940 to 1990 at decadal intervals. Another set of data are from the 1993 Toward Shaping the Agenda, A National survey of Catholic Religious Education study, made up of 10 data sets covering adults, bishops, children by age groups, diocesan leaders, elementary school principals, and religion teachers/catechists. Access the collection of surveys of the Catholic Church and a number of other studies for free at the ARDA.
