New Efforts at Catholic Youth Ministry

The Millennial generation is fully immersed in a postmodern world. Robert J. McCarty, executive director of the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry, describes a six-year national initiative to reach Millennials, called “Partnership for Adolescent Catechesis,” and what was learned about best practices for catechizing contemporary young Catholics, in an interview conducted by Tracy Schier.
