Acts of Faith: Interfaith Leadership in a Time of Global Religious Crisis

Eboo Patel, founder and president of Interfaith Youth Core, discusses the interfaith landscape in the United States after 9/11, stresses the promise and genius of America located in its ability to “indigenize” diverse cultural groups, and articulates the need for a corps of civic and religious leaders capable of working in an expanding interfaith context. Patel was the keynote speaker at a September 2011 conference co-produced by the Duke Islamic Studies Center and the Social Science Research Council, and hosted by the Religion Newswriters Association.
