Rev Frank Yamada Named Executive Director of Association of Theological Schools

The Association of Theological Schools, a Pittsburgh-based agency that accredits and provides services to more than 270 seminaries and graduate schools in the U.S. and Canada, has named a Chicago seminary president as its next executive director. The association’s board on Tuesday unanimously approved the appointment of the Rev. Frank Yamada, president of McCormick Theological Seminary and a Presbyterian minister. Rev. Yamada will succeed the Rev. Daniel Aleshire upon his retirement June 30. Rev. Aleshire has been director since 1998. [More here].
