Hymnary.org

Launched in 2007, Hymnary.org is a searchable online hymn and worship music database for worship leaders, hymnologists, scholars, musicians and hymn lovers alike. At Hymnary.org you can search or browse more than 5,700 hymnals and 1 million songs by title, tune, meter, key, scripture reference and more. The database features sheet music and song lyrics and historical information for many of the hymns.

In partnership with the Hymn Society in the United States and Canada, Hymnary.org houses the Dictionary of North American Hymnology — making it the most complete database of North American hymnody on the planet.

Hymnary.org offers FlexScores of many popular hymns. A FlexScore is a revolutionary type of musical arrangement that allows you to tailor any hymn to suit to your individual needs on the fly, within seconds. With the touch of a button, a hymn can be converted from one instrument's score to any of our other supported instruments, or transposed to a different key. Font and note size can also be adjusted with the touch of a button. You can even hide a hymn's text so that more music can fit on a single page. Supported arrangements and instruments include full score, lead sheets, large print, bulletin (melody or harmony), keyboard, projection, alto sax, bass, cello, clarinet, horn, tenor sax, trombone, trumpet, viola and violin.

Hymnary.org is part of the Christian Classics Ethereal Library located at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Hymnary.org represents a large faith-based audience and is viewed by more than 500,000 unique visitors per month.
