God’s Place in the Pursuit of Excellence

While any of us might tolerate mediocrity in our own behaviors and work, when we are the intended beneficiaries, we want to experience excellence. But defining excellence – especially pastoral excellence – can be problematic. This essay examines excellence as approaching God and the fullness of God’s reign over all creation.
