Information comes from the 2003-2005 U.S. State Department’s International Religious Freedom Reports, the World Christian Database, Freedom House, the Heritage Foundation, and the United Nations. Topics include religion, religious adherents, economics, politics, religious regulation, and governmental religious favoritism. Religious persecution and ethnic identity measures were added in 2007, and the information is available from the Association of Religion Data Archives.
